Major DC Universe Expansion
On top of the three new family attractions, several preexisting rides underwent huge makeovers for a major DC Universe expansion. Streamliner Coaster, which has undergone several theme transformations since its addition in 1992, became Batgirl Coaster Chase during the 2024 season. Thrill Seeker Park, which is where the attraction was previously located, became part of the newest DC Universe expansion.
Kid’s Area Theme Changes
Batgirl Coaster Chase is one of the park’s original attractions, opening in 1992. Fiesta Texas’ children’s area carried a German theme throughout the 1990s and 2000s, with this attraction being known as Der Rollschuh Coaster. The area would undergo a huge change in 2009 with the addition of Wiggles World. Under the Wiggles World theme, Der Rollschuch Coaster became known as Romp Bomp a Stomp. Wiggles World was a short-lived concept at Fiesta Texas, only lasting two seasons between 2009 and 2010. At the end of 2010, Six Flags would not renew their licensing agreement with the Wiggles, turning this area into Kidzopolis. Under the Kidzopolis theme, Romp Bomp a Stomp would become Kiddee Koaster. In 2020, Fiesta Texas would work to once again revitalize the children’s area, stripping the Kidzopolis branding and renaming the attraction to Streamliner Coaster. In 2024, the attraction was rethemed to Batgirl Coaster Chase as the area it is located in became an expansion for the park’s DC Universe section.
