Major DC Universe Expansion

On top of the three new family attractions, several preexisting rides underwent huge makeovers for a major DC Universe expansion. Sky Searcher, which was originally added as Yummy Yummy Fruit Salad in 2009, was reintroduced as Poison Ivy Toxic Spin in October 2024. Thrill Seeker Park, which is where the attraction was previously located, became part of the newest DC Universe expansion.

Wiggles World, Other Themes

Poison Ivy Toxic Spin is an exciting children’s ride that became part of the park’s DC Universe expansion in 2024. Riders board their own basket and quickly ascend, experiencing a great view of the surrounding area. From 2023 to 2024, the attraction was known as Sky Searcher when the area was themed to Thrill Seeker Park. Poison Ivy Toxic Spin was known as Up, Up & Away from 2011 to 2023. From 2009 to 2010, the attraction was named Yummy Yummy Fruit Salad.

Wiggles World came Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2009 and 2010. Some new rides, as well as already-standing attractions, were given new paint jobs and names that resembled Wiggles characters and objects. Yummy Yummy Fruit Salad was one of several new additions to the area. In 2011, Wiggles World would be renamed Kidzopolis.

    In January, the retheme of Sky Searcher begins as Thrill Seeker Park transforms into an expansion of DC Universe.

    Poison Ivy Toxic Spin reopens in the new expanded DC Universe area on October 24.

    In June, Up, Up & Away is rethemed and renamed Sky Searcher. The updated theme features a blue tower with hot air balloon baskets.

    On August 26, Fiesta Texas announces that Sky Searcher will become Poison Ivy Toxic Spin to fit the 2024 DC Universe expansion.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is in the home stretch of their DC Universe expansion. The third attraction, Shazam! Tower of Eternity, has gone vertical as work also continues on Metropolis Transit Authority and Cyborg: Cyber Revolution. The surrounding area has also seen a number of dining and retail refreshes. Other park projects include a Hustler refurbishment and a paint refresh of Goliath's track.
