Six Flags Fiesta Texas Breaks Ground on Werewolf Gorge
Six Flags Fiesta Texas officially broke ground today on Werewolf Gorge, the future world's longest family launch coaster and the largest single-attraction investment in park history, marking a major milestone in the continued growth of the park and Texas tourism industry. Scheduled to debut during the park's 35th anniversary season in 2027, Werewolf Gorge will stretch an unprecedented 4,120 feet, making it both the world's longest family launch coaster and the longest roller coaster ever built at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

What Goes Into Getting Six Flags Fiesta Texas Rides Ready Each Morning? National Roller Coaster Day
Six Flags Fiesta Texas invited us out on National Roller Coaster Day for a behind-the-scenes look at how their roller coasters and attractions are prepared each morning for guests. Maintenance begins their day before the sun rises, inspecting roller coaster trains, the track, sensors, brakes and several other items for each attraction in the park. Afterwards, the operations team takes over with their own safety checks, ensuring each component of the park's rides functions safely and properly.

End-of-Summer Updates: Kid Flash Coaster Removed, New Dining Experience, How Are Ride Operations?
Summer is quickly coming to a close at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Since our last visit, Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster has been fully removed and the all-new La Cocina de Cobre Tex-Mex restaurant has opened. Refurbishment projects have left several coasters operating only one train, along with the continued long-term closures of select flat rides. Six Flags Fiesta Texas continues its culinary transformation with the opening of La Cocina de Cobre on Saturday, June 20. The new restaurant replaces Bubba’s Burgers and represents one of the most significant food and beverage investments in the park’s history. The addition builds on the park’s expanded culinary vision following the introduction of an executive chef last year, as well as the multimillion-dollar transformation of Sangerfest Halle, the largest dining investment in park history.

Holiday in the Park has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates until December 23. The special event has seen an impressive increase in decorations and Christmas lights. Fresh food offerings are also on the menu after the hiring of a new executive chef, including Korean fried chicken and turkey soup. The jam-packed offering of shows sees the return of The Majesty of Christmas and Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, while a new 70-foot tall tree, the largest in San Antonio, also debuts in Rockville.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas will debut its most dazzling holiday event in park history when Holiday in the Park returns Nov. 22 through Dec. 23. Guests will be immersed in a winter wonderland featuring 2.5 million lights, more than 75,000 decorations and hundreds of Christmas trees, including a new 70-foot artificial fir tree — the tallest traditional-style holiday tree in San Antonio.
Tricks and Treats 2025 Celebrates Halloween, Minus the Scares, at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Tricks and Treats, new for 2025, is Six Flags Fiesta Texas' latest reimagined version of their daytime Halloween event. Those looking to leave behind the scares of Fright Fest can enjoy plenty of daytime activities, including a massive trick or treat trail and friendly Dia de los Muetros display. Several live entertainment offerings, such as Haunted Hollywood at Zaragoza Theatre and Fiesta de los Muetros at Teatro Fiesta, also play throughout the day. Tricks and Treats takes place on weekends through November 2.
Oktoberfest Food Festival 2025, Plus Fall Park Updates
Oktoberfest has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates through October 26. Spassburg is your hub for all things Oktoberfest with speciality food offerings, beverages and live entertainment. Der Wurst Band and the Beer Tapping Ceremony highlight the area's ambiance, while craft beers, bratwurst and other German fare can be enjoyed along the pathways. We also venture around the park to check out changes and updates heading into the fall season.
Fright Fest 2025 - Haunted House POVS, Spooky Shows & Roaming Monsters
Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates now through November 2. This year's Halloween event features four new haunted houses, which includes SAW: Legacy of Terror, Hexenhaus, Cinema Slasher and Nosferatu. Fan-favorite entertainment also returns with Monster Mash Bash, The Arrival and Frightful Finale fireworks. Interactive lanterns make their debut, which allow users to activate various effects throughout the park.
