Six Flags Fiesta Texas Kicks Off Summer with Summerbration, New Fireworks Show & Continued Upgrades
Summer has arrived at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and is highlighted by Summerbration through September 1. Forever Hollywood and the all-new Blockbuster Blasts fireworks show join the park's expansive entertainment selection. Sangerfest Halle has reopened with a fresh look and new dining offerings, while work continues on upgraded drink refill stations. Summerbration
Summerbration is the park’s advertised summer event for 2025. Though we can’t say that the event holds much weight, there’s some light decor throughout the park and a strong line-up of live productions to enjoy. Forever Hollywood has returned to Zaragoza Theatre with a number of new songs. Over in Rockville, guests can enjoy the continuation of Rockville Beach Party and Bubble Pop! Teatro Fiesta features the continuation of ¡Caliente! and Saturday evenings are highlighted by Blockbuster Blasts fireworks in Lone Star Lil’s.
A new show, The Sound System, is set to debut later this month at Sangerfest Halle Stage. Most live shows play through July 27. However, Rockville Beach Party has an early end date of July 6. Blockbuster Blasts takes place on Saturdays and holiday weekends through September 1.
Sangerfest Halle Upgrades, New Refill Stations
Sangerfest Halle’s kitchen and serving area upgrades have been unveiled since our last visit. The new setup provides a more efficient experience and expanded menu. We opted to try the braised beef with spaetzle, which came with macaroni and cheese as a side and a pretzel roll. We also opted for the coffee cake, another dining plan offering. The braised beef was well-cooked and full of flavor. The macaroni and cheese was more traditional theme park fare, being heavily outshined by the main entree. The coffee cake was a great way to finish up the meal as it wasn’t overly-sweet and is served cold (refreshing on such a hot day).
Drink refill stations will soon begin popping up around the park. Rockville’s refill station is in progress and you can expect to see upgrades at Johnny Rockets and near the park’s main entrance in Los Festivales. DC Universe will soon have a permanent bar near Supergirl Sky Flight. Additional dining enhancements are expected for Fiesta Texas, though the timeline is currently unknown.
