Mardi Gras Festival
February 7 to March 15, 2026
Mardi Gras Festival is a themed celebration like no other, exclusively taking place at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. A highlight of the event is the Taste of Mardi Gras food festival, which features a large number of authentic New Orleans food and beverages. Mardi Gras Festival features themed areas, vibrant colors, live entertainment and a large Mardi Gras parade.
Mardi Gras Festival is one of the newest special events to debut at Six Flags theme parks. Originating in the spring of 2017, Mardi Gras Festival first debuted at Six Flags Mexico and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Later in the year, guests at Six Flags St. Louis also had the pleasure of enjoying the festival. Currently, Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the only park to continually offer the special event.
2025 saw the return of the Mardi Gras Parade with a Spectacle of Color twist, featuring five new parade floats and an original music score. The event is rounded out by the return of specialty food and drink, new live entertainment offerings and additional Mardi Gras-themed activities.
