End-of-Summer Updates: Kid Flash Coaster Removed, New Dining Experience, How Are Ride Operations?
Summer is quickly coming to a close at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Since our last visit, Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster has been fully removed and the all-new La Cocina de Cobre Tex-Mex restaurant has opened. Refurbishment projects have left several coasters operating only one train, along with the continued long-term closures of select flat rides. We also check out Werewolf Gorge construction progress, which is a family coaster coming in 2027 and experience the FiestaLuz drone show.

Hurricane Harbor San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas' water park, opened in 1992 and boasts more than 15 water slides and attractions. Six Flags Fiesta Texas Unveils Multi-Launch Coaster for 2027 at FT92, Plus Summer Updates
Daily summer operations are here at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This includes a wide array of live entertainment offerings and your favorite rides. The park continues several refurbishment projects, including Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines and DC Super-Villains Swing. Plus, the FT92 Fan Event takes place, unveiling Werewolf Gorge, a multi-launch roller coaster coming in 2027, more details about the new Crackaxle Canyon Tex-Mex restaurant and plenty of Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park teasers.
Fiesta Texas Launches Daily Operations, Expands Summer Hours and Debuts Nightly Drone Spectacular
Six Flags Fiesta Texas begins daily operations today, inviting guests to experience more thrills, entertainment and summer fun. From June 15 through Aug. 9, the park will extend hours, remaining open until 9 p.m. each evening, giving guests more time to enjoy rides, attractions and entertainment day and night. As part of the summer lineup, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will debut FiestaLuz, a new nightly drone spectacular featuring more than 175 illuminated drones.
