Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters was added to the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk section of the park for the 2002 season. The attraction was an interactive dark ride. Guests would aim blasters at targets and rack up points throughout the ride. At the end of the ride the guest with the largest amount of point was declared the winner. Many targets within the ride activated special effects. These usually included lighting or movement effects with the set pieces inside the ride. Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters officially closed on January 7th, 2018 after Six Flags did not renew their licensing agreement with Hanna-Barbera.
