Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Where is Six Flags Fiesta Texas located?

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is located in North San Antonio, at the interchange between Loop 1604 and IH10. The exit to the park is La Cantera Parkway off of IH10. You can approach the park from La Cantera Parkway off of Loop 1604 as well.

When is the best time to visit the park?

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is usually open from February through the beginning of January. Fiesta Texas was built in an old quarry and therefore has a much hotter index in the summer months due to the lack of airflow. We recommend that you visit in the Spring and Fall months if you would like to avoid temperatures. However, Fiesta Texas does have a water park that is open in the summer months to enjoy. There are also many live show options to stay out of the heat. If you prefer light crowds we recommend that you visit on the weekdays in the summer.

How much does it cost to get into the main park? What about the water park?

The cost varies throughout the season and from year to year. We recommend that you purchase tickets online at the official Six Flags website as there are usually discounts for purchasing this way. The water park admission is included with the ticket price for the main park. For more in-depth information regarding types of tickets, passes, and memberships, visit our Visit Planner page.

Should I buy a season pass or single-day ticket?

Buying a season pass is the best way to go. You will find that you have unlimited visits to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, as well as unlimited visits to the other Six Flags parks (with some limits to water parks). The price for a season pass is also competitive with that of a daily pass. The park also offers a membership program in which allows you to pay for your pass monthly (like a Netflix subscription). After a year, this membership plan can be cancelled.

When is the park open?

The park is typically open from February through the beginning of January with varying park hours each month. Hours may change throughout the season so we recommend checking the park's official operating schedule prior to visiting.

What if I lose something inside the park?

Guest Relations is located near the front gate in Los Festivales. Any issues with lost articles can be handled through them. Please note: if you lose an article while on a ride, they will not be able to look for your belongings until the end of the operating day.

Where can I find information about live entertainment?

We provide an in-depth Live Shows page on our website that showcases what is currently playing, information about venues, and what future shows will be coming to the park. We also provide show times and media. Click HERE to visit our Live Shows page.

How do I know which rides will be closed when I want to visit?

Ride closures can happen at unscheduled times throughout the day. Some rides may close for a short time and then resume normal operation once the attraction is deemed safe to do so. This aspect of a theme park is inconsistent and hard to forecast. Some rides will close depending on season. You can expect water park rides to only be open when White Water Bay is in operation. Water rides inside the main park typically close during the winter months of operation. We recommend calling the official park phone number when wanting the most up-to-date information regarding ride closures. If you are already inside the park we recommend that you visit Guest Relations located in Los Festivales for this information. If you have questions regarding scheduled ride closures then please feel free to contact us.

What kind of food does the park have? How much does it cost?

Fiesta Texas provides many dining options for your trip. Hamburgers, pizza, Mexican food, and many dessert selections are just some of the options available. We provide in-depth dining information on our website, including locations, menu options, alcohol availability and media. Please click HERE to view our Dining page. Food costs vary depending on what you would like to purchase. An average meal typically costs, on average, around $12-$15. We do recommend looking into a dining pass for visiting the park. Some dining pass options are valid at every Six Flags park, come with a souvenir cup (free drink refills), and pay for themselves within a few visits.

What are the best things to do at Fiesta Texas?

This is all about preference. Fiesta Texas has a nice selection of roller coasters, including Batman: The Ride and Iron Rattler. The live entertainment that the park provides is like no other. For 10 years in a row, Fiesta Texas won the Golden Ticket for Best Theme Park Shows. The water park has many great slides and relaxation areas and also comes with the admission to the main park. If you have children, the park has many kid-friendly attractions spread throughout the park.
